An entrepreneur and investor with a passion for brand design, Jeff has been helping entrepreneurs build brands since founding Listen in 2010. Prior to Listen, Jeff honed his craft at global ad agency Leo Burnett where he developed global brand strategies and new product innovations for some of the world's largest brands. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for fast growing Chicago brands Raise and Bucketfeet.
During his 20+ years working in the industry, Joe has been exposed to nearly every form of public communication -- from developing global advertising strategies and campaigns for some of the world's most recognized brands, to planning and executing events for local civic endeavors. His affinity for public discourse doesn't stop at the office, either; Silberman has performed improv at Chicago's esteemed 2nd City, and appeared in work at The Acting Studio Chicago.
Since 2009, Rick has actively invested in the Chicago ecosystem through the co-founding of Dashfire, Chicago’s leading startup studio. In conjunction with Dashfire, Rick has supported the growth of FarShore, a global software development firm. He previously was an investor for Chicago private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners. Rick was awarded a William J. Clinton Fellowship in 2008 and served in India’s slums and villages. He is a graduate of Georgetown University.
